Peter Nickalls is a British composer for film and TV, becoming known for his powerful and emotive orchestral work on recent projects like Talamasca (AMC), Nautilus (Prime), Loki Season 2 (Disney+) and Obi-Wan Kenobi (Disney+). Equally at ease with stirring documentaries and action-packed reality shows, he has composed music for numerous channels and labels over the last decade, including Channel 4’s The Hunt and two seasons of Mary Berry's Best Home Cook (BBC One). Peter has also written for indie games and orchestrated high profile ad campaigns for the likes of Coke and Money Supermarket.

Peter regularly collaborates with award-winning composers like Natalie Holt and Dru Masters and is signed to a number of production libraries as himself and under the pseudonym Alex Deeping. His tracks can be heard across the globe on shows such as The Grand Tour, Hawaii Five-0, Top Gear, Match of the Day, Countryfile and countless others. Brands that have used his music include Disney, Marvel, NASA and US presidential campaigns.

Peter holds a BA and MA in music from Cambridge University with a First in composition.
