Peter Nickalls is a Sussex-based composer whose recent TV work includes music for Beecham House (ITV) with Natalie Holt, Dara and Ed's Road to Mandalay (BBC Two), and ISIS: The Origins of Violence (Channel 4). He also writes music for advertising, with previous clients including BT, Heinz, Toyota, Ecco, and Subway. Peter is signed to a number of production libraries and his tracks can be heard across the globe on shows such as The Grand Tour, Hawaii Five-0, Top Gear, Match of the Day, Countryfile and countless others. Brands that have used his music include Disney, Marvel, NASA and even presidential hopeful Joe Biden. He has also written music for several indie games and works closely with Cambridge University, scoring research films and other materials such as their tribute to Professor Stephen Hawking.

Peter holds a BA and MA in music from Cambridge University with a First in composition. He has worked with live orchestras both as a composer and an oboist for years and regularly collaborates with live players and other composers such as Samuel Sim, Natalie Holt and Dru Masters.

Peter is also a jazz pianist, having previously performed on cruise ships around the world and more locally in the south-east of England.
